ABOUT ME

​

Hi, my name is Jimmi and I am a part time freelance photographic artist from Denmark who majors on art photography in both experimental landscapes and portraits. To me photography is a way to communicate feelings and a tool to transform these into visible pictures that tells a story. 

 

In the past years my work have been showed off on various online platforms and art magazines as eg The Flying Fruit bowl, UK.

 

Besides my online representation, some of my artworks have been showed in several physical exhibitions around Europe. The headquarters of Aston Martin, Sebastian Zenker Interior Design, Leflorida and AW Café as well as Gallery Kåntrast and Ship Inn at the beautiful Hjerting Badehotel in Esbjerg. I am currently represented by Frameline Gallery in Germany as well as Monokunst Photography & Art.

I strive to push the boundaries of what is possible in my craft. Over the last couple of years I have worked hard on developing my technique in wet plate photography. Now, as one of very few photographers in Denmark who works in this medium, I am offering this kind of unique portrait work to my clients. Being able to bring back to life this photography technique from the 1850s is something very special to me. I am proud of being able to produce and deliver these physical artworks to my awesome clients.​
